Rental Cars vs Public Transportation

  • Definitely want to do rental cars
  • Be care of the fees that other companies charge
  • Make sure you can drive manual, as many countries have manual only cars (low selection of automatic)
  • You can really see the country on public transportation
  • Don’t consider Uber/Lyft public transportation, but it gets the job done
  • If you do rent a car, make sure to pay with the Chase Sapphire card series
